CBPF awards 2 grants to CBPD

 This morning, the Board of Directors for the Carolina Beach Police Foundation (CBPF) awarded Chief Vic Ward of the Carolina Beach Police Department a grant of $10,980.90. This grant will be used to update their drone capabilities, which will help ensure officer safety and improve beach rescue operations. Additionally, the grant will support an officer health and wellness program that aims to address the challenges faced by law enforcement professionals and provide proactive strategies to build resilience and self-care. CBPF will be at the Carolina Beach National Night Out Event

The Carolina Beach Police Foundation (CBPF) is excited to join the National Night Out event at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk Gazebo on Aug 6, 2024 from 6-8PM. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and mutual understanding to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Come see us at our tent and find how how your support of the CBPF helps support our outstanding officers of the CBPD.

We have the stuff you want and you will be supporting the  CBPF!   We have CBPF T-Shirts in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes. We also have trucker hats.  T-Shirts are $15 plus shipping costs and hats are $20 plus shipping costs. CBPF at Carolina Beach Lake Market

The CBPF will be at the Carolina Beach Market on Saturday, June 8 & 15, and July 6 & 13.  We will be available to discuss the Foundation's mission and sign up individual and business members.  We will have some limited CBPF T-shirts and trucker hats for sale.  Come see us!

The Island Women's Flamingo BINGO Donates to the CBPF

The CBPF is extremely grateful to be the non-profit recipient of tonight's donation.  Our Vice President, Wayne Rouse, will be there to thank everyone and receive the donation.


Please join The Island Women TONIGHT in front of the stage at the Carolina Beach boardwalk. The cost to play is $15 per person (cash only), which includes 16 games and 16 chances to win cash prizes. Sales begin at 6:30pm, and the first ball is drawn at 7pm sharp. Tonight’s $750 donation goes to the Carolina Beach Police Foundation.

Deputy Chief of Police, Glen Mowrey was one of the founding members of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Foundation, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year supporting the men and women of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.  Deputy Chief Mowery was a dedicated  mentor and advisor in helping me to establish the Carolina Beach Police Foundation.

Wow, what a great CBPF membership drive last night at the Vault. The Vault and Karla were great hosts!  Chief Ward provided a great overview of the challenges of Law Enforcement today and how the CBPF can help overcome some Department budget constraints.
